Version 3.2
1. Acceptance & Structure of Service Agreement
By purchasing, enrolling in, renewing, or attempting to file a claim under any protection plan provided by DriveZenoGuard, you explicitly confirm your agreement to be legally bound by all terms, conditions, limitations, and operational protocols described within this master document. This Agreement represents the complete contractual understanding between DriveZenoGuard ("Company," "We," or "Us") and the verified vehicle policyholder ("Customer," "You," or "Owner").
No verbal promise, statements made by third-party auto sales representatives, or unwritten representations shall modify, override, or replace any term within this contract. DriveZenoGuard reserves the right to periodically update these terms to comply with evolving state or federal automotive service standards. Continued usage of our network services following any modifications constitutes your formal acceptance of the updated terms.
Mandatory Policy Binding: Please review your policy schedule document carefully upon enrollment. Your policy confirmation email, combined with this Terms & Conditions document, constitutes your legally binding Extended Service Contract.
2. Vehicle Eligibility, Inspection & Activation
DriveZenoGuard protection plans are strictly designed for standard consumer and select commercial vehicles that satisfy our preliminary qualification benchmarks. To remain eligible for active coverage, vehicles must comply with the following mandatory criteria:
-
Mandatory Inspection Period: Prior to final policy issuance, every vehicle must complete a mandatory multi-point inspection at a DriveZenoGuard certified partner facility or submit a verified digital diagnostic scan.
-
Pre-Existing Conditions Exclusion: Mechanical breakdowns, fluid leaks, structural failures, or fault codes present prior to policy purchase or during the standard 30-day / 1,000-km initial waiting period are explicitly non-covered.
-
Odometer Integrity & Misrepresentation: The vehicle’s odometer must remain functional at all times. Any intentional tampering, disconnect, alteration, or failure to disclose an inaccurate mileage reading immediately voids the entire policy without refund eligibility.
-
Title & Registration Requirements: Covered vehicles must maintain valid, legal state registration. Vehicles carrying salvaged, junk, flooded, rebuilt, or total-loss titles are strictly ineligible for coverage under any circumstances.
3. Policyholder Maintenance Responsibilities
To keep your DriveZenoGuard warranty active and valid, you must properly maintain your vehicle in accordance with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) recommended service schedule. Failure to perform routine maintenance may lead to claim denials if the failure is directly linked to service neglect.
Policyholders are required to retain all verifiable paper or digital service records (including itemized repair orders, technician signatures, and receipts for motor oil, filters, coolant, and transmission fluid replacements). In the event of a major engine or transmission claim, DriveZenoGuard reserves the right to request up to 24 months of maintenance proof prior to approving claim payouts.
Mandatory Proof Requirements
Receipts must display the vehicle VIN, date of service, exact mileage, and itemized list of materials used (e.g., oil grade and filter part number).
Self-Service Policy
If you perform your own oil changes or fluid flushes, you must retain itemized store receipts for fluids/parts and maintain a dated mileage logbook.
4. Detailed Repair & Claims Authorization Process
DriveZenoGuard operates an efficient Direct Cashless Repair Settlement Network across over 1,200+ accredited automotive repair centers. To guarantee direct payment processing between DriveZenoGuard and the repair facility, all repair procedures must strictly follow the authorization steps detailed below:
Upon noticing any dashboard warning light, unusual mechanical noise, fluid leakage, or performance drop, you must immediately pull over safely and turn off the engine. Continued operation of the vehicle following a mechanical breakdown or overheating event constitutes failure to protect the vehicle and will void coverage for any resulting secondary engine or component damage.
No repair work, teardown, or component removal shall begin before the repair facility receives a formal, written Approval Code from a DriveZenoGuard claims adjuster. Any repair performed without an official Authorization Code will be treated as an unauthorized repair and will be strictly non-reimbursable.
The policyholder is responsible for authorizing diagnostic labor or engine teardown required by the technician to determine the exact cause of failure. If the breakdown is confirmed to be a covered component under your plan, DriveZenoGuard will reimburse reasonable diagnostic charges up to standard regional labor time guides. If the failure is deemed non-covered, diagnostic costs remain the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.
5. Detailed Exclusions & Coverage Limitations
While DriveZenoGuard provides extensive coverage across critical mechanical and electrical systems, specific components, environmental events, and user behaviors are explicitly excluded from policy payouts:
Wear & Tear Items
Routine consumables including brake pads, rotors, drums, wiper blades, tires, clutch friction plates, shock absorbers, struts, exhaust pipes, catalytic converters, batteries, spark plugs, and routine cabin/engine filters are excluded from all plans.
Modifications & Racing
Damage caused by non-OEM engine tuning chips, suspension lift kits, aftermarket turbocharger modifications, vehicle overload beyond manufacturer weight ratings, street racing, or off-road mudding activity voids coverage immediately.
Environmental & External Causes
Loss or breakdown resulting from flood damage, water ingress into engine air intakes (hydro-lock), hail, fire, lightning, collisions, rodent damage, electrical shorts caused by external accidents, or improper fuel contamination is not covered.
Cosmetic & Body Work
Paint peeling, rust corrosion, body panels, glass windshields, door handles, weather seals, upholstery stitching, convertible top fabrics, and internal dashboard trim wear are strictly non-covered cosmetic items.
6. 24/7 Roadside Assistance Terms & Limits
All active DriveZenoGuard protection plans include complimentary emergency roadside dispatch services operated 24 hours a day, 365 days a year nationwide. Roadside support services are subject to the operational limits outlined below:
-
Emergency Towing Limits: Complementary towing coverage is provided up to a maximum distance of 50 km per event to the nearest DriveZenoGuard certified workshop. Any mileage exceeding 50 km will be billed directly to the driver at standard regional per-km tow rates.
-
Battery Jump-Starts & Flat Tires: On-site emergency jump-starts and installation of your vehicle’s inflated spare tire are provided free of charge. If no usable spare tire is available, towing limits apply.
-
Emergency Fuel Delivery: Up to 5 liters of emergency fuel (gasoline or diesel) will be delivered to your stranded location. While dispatch labor is covered, the actual retail cost of the delivered fuel must be paid by the driver at the point of service.
-
Lockout & Key Recovery: Assistance is provided to unlock your vehicle if keys are locked inside. Key replacement, transponder re-programming, or locksmith cutting charges are not covered.

8. Governing Law, Limitation of Liability & Arbitration
This Agreement, its interpretation, and any legal disputes arising out of or relating to your coverage shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the applicable state or federal jurisdiction without regard to conflict of law principles.
Under no circumstances shall DriveZenoGuard, its parent company, affiliates, or repair network partners be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages—including but not limited to loss of time, lost wages, vehicle rental expenses beyond policy limits, commercial loss, or emotional distress—arising out of mechanical failures or repair delays. Any unresolved dispute arising under this contract shall be settled exclusively through binding individual arbitration rather than court proceedings.
